Work
Well I have completed my first term at North Central College and my last at Joliet Junior College (well, for now). Yeah, math is going well. I’ve been busy learning about
and how to do my homework in it. It is a pretty versatile typesetting language and I am enjoying it a lot.
Work has been going a tad bit slow. It’s our slow time, which is good as it allows me to focus more on classes. However, we do have two fantastic coffees which I am enjoying…

So it is official, I am no longer a banker.
I have left the profession so I could return to school during the day. Thankfully, as I progress, the classes I need will not be offered at night. After all, while I enjoyed my Calculus II class last semester, it was a super-duper jumbo class. Tuesday’s from 5:30 to 9:50.
Anyway, I am currently taking an Astronomy class. It is by a professor called Dr. Michael Seeds. He is really good and the class is very interesting. It’s virtual, so only four visits to the college. I start back at JJC at the end of August for an Educational Psychology class and back at North Central in mid-September for Calculus IV (I’m really smart, I’m skipping Calc III!). That will be interesting.
Ok, so it has been quite busy along these parts. I am watching the season finale of October Road. It’s a pretty good show. I started watching it on account of Bryan Greenberg. He was on One Tree Hill.
So, last month I purchased a new Toshiba Laptop from Office Depot. They are not only a top notch store, so is their staff. They not only had the best price, they have always had good service. And you can always return anything without a service charge. Finally, they always stand behind their products and rebates.
