I was crusing my friend Ryan’s blog and saw his wonderful post on the “new” Book of Concord from Concordia Publishing House. I was fortunate enough to actually have pre-ordered it for both myself and my parents. I have Tappert and Kolb-Wengert – both – and enjoy reading from this book even more so! Maybe because it has pictures!

Seriously, though it is a beautiful book that just invites a reader to pick it up and read it. And it is easy to approach with their reading guide. I am still hoping that my parents are reading this book – they are at a church that is very much into Saddleback. Now, if I could only get people who claim to be Lutheran to actually read it….
