Over the Martin Luther King Jr holiday, I travelled to Aurora to take my Technician Class Amateur Radio Licensing Examination.  I’m pleased to report that I passed with flying colors (100%) and did quite well on the General (considering I had not studied, earning 19/35! – but not quite enough to pass).  Last Friday I received my license from the FCC and am now proudly displaying it on my wall…now all I need is to acquire a radio – and for that I need a bit extra dough!  Send donations to me!!!
