Why would anyone leave the Lutheran Church? You may ask this, especially if you are a Confessional Lutheran or “old school” Lutheran. I could say something snarky about the Lutheran Church or criticise the Lutheran Church for some perceived injustice to the world of Christianity…as some people seem to do, but honestly, is that good for the cause of Christ? Perhaps I should have titled this blog, why I joined the EPC…
Woo hoo! I got myself a brand new library card yesterday!
When I was applying for the card, I noticed that they had a clock on the wall that had the CPL logo on the background. Of course, it was much more like it’s inspiration from the Chicago Cultural Center…which originally was the Chicago Public Library:

So Friday a dear friend of mine was showing me her Nook that she received for Christmas. I got a bunch of gift cards for Best Buy for Christmas and, well, not needing much from Best Buy decided that an e-reader would be a great thing to spend the cards on.
Anyone have one of these devices who can tell me what they like/dislike?

Well, today marks the first day of my Student Teaching experience in Plainfield. I teach two review lessons and two new lessons this week. So exciting!
