Fountain Pens
Last week I had the opportunity to attend my first chat for Brian and Rachel Goulet’s
Write Time at 9. If you hit it live you get the opportunity to participate in the chat. And they actually will answer questions. It’s very casual and friendly. Hey, it’s like sitting around the table with friends.
Anyway, right now as we speak, Brian is going to be talking about the Edison Nouveau pens. I’d like one. They are only $150.
I really like the Blue. It reminds me of the Baystate Blue from Noodler’s.

I was looking at one of my favorite blogs, Office Supply Geek, and they reviewed a neat pen. Being a math teacher, I can see how this might be be useful f
or marking your students technology (Did you know they steal calculators – there is a special place is math you know where for that). Anyway, it is made by Centropen, a Czech Republic pen maker, and is called the Centropen UV Security Marker. Similar products can go for upwards of $10, but JetPens sells this for only $2.85 with FREE shipping if you spend more than $25.00. Having trouble finding enough to fill your cart? Browse around their site. I guarantee you’ll easily find unique things to easily make it to the $25.00. If you are a math person like me, try some pencils.
I really really like writing with my fountain pens. I know that I mustn’t be doing a lot of writing, since my cartridge of ink lasts a few days…however, some people have mentioned they use an entire cartridge full of ink before their day is over. Oh well! I found this wonderful trick from Brian Goulet over at gouletpens.com. Pretty neat, wouldn’t you think. He has lots of tips and is really an asset to the pen community! Check him out, he has a weekly broadcast of good pen knowledge!
