Well, it is March now…it is getting time to do the annual spring cleaning for many. I was looking back at my Google Reader and found this suggestion for cleaning – a post a LifeHacker.
I was over on Vieth’s blog today and he has an article about how we, as Christians, may need to deal with the legalization of gay marriage. What I find problematic, moreso than the immoral issues of gay marriage, is the fact that there is a double standard applied to Christians… After all, we are on attack for our beliefs. I am even more concerned where we will end up like Sweden where it is illegal to preach against immorality (yes against gay marriage). Why society claims to “love and accept all”, yet forces their beliefs and “religion” on the Christian population is beyond me. It is acceptable to teach Darwin and evolution, but it should be illegal (according to them) to propose Creationism? How is that separation of church and state? Of course, look at the Romans and where their acceptance of homosexuality has gotten them…

Bruce Kintz, the CEO of CPH gives this wonderful message:

Sometimes I think that it is hard to take Pastor Fisk seriously with his wacky Worldview Everlasting videos…but then I listen to what he has to say. He has a style where you can listen to him, in a non-threatening way, with a tongue-in-cheek method of presenting, a solidly confessional message. I’m amazed at his creativity and eagerly look forward to his next episode. Check him out, follow him, and listen. He truly is a gem in the Lutheran church. He’s Revfiskj on YouTube…. He really does a nice job on addressing sexual sins.
